The scene pictured here with a dory and headland is a detail taken from Time Goes By, a monumental commissioned work inspired by Sand Cove in Blue Rocks, Nova Scotia. The sky is hand painted and many different fabrics such as dupioni silk for the water, cotton prints and hand dyed wool fabric were employed in the creation of this work.
