Of a Pearly Hue Giclée Print
In Of a Pearly Hue, this time the little girl is situated on a beach picking up a shell with a pearl. The work is reminiscent of the painting, Children Playing on the Beach by Mary Cassatt. Tulle netting holds the pearl inside the shell. The beach is made of raw silk. The water is metallic silk gauze, the foam a lucky scrap of net given to me by a bridal dressmaker.
