Early Bird Greeting Card
**Shipping not included in cost, if shipping is required we will contact you to calculate shipping quote and payment seperately
Early Bird was inspired by the painting, The Goldfinch by Carel Fabritius, in 1654. Fabritius was a student of Rembrandt and also supposedly Vermeer's teacher. In his painting the bird is chained to its perch, however, in mine it is not. In my version, the bird has caught his breakfast and with a watchful eye, intends to keep it. The image is free machine embroidered with hand-dyed threads on a background painted in archival inks.
