Open House Giclée Print
They are called fish stores. Fish store, I soon learned from a retired neighbouring fisherman, is not where you buy fish but where a fisher keeps his gear and baits his lines. In the past and in the present, these out-buildings have also served as singularly male refuges from domesticity. Open House is the first work in the series, Land, Sea and Memory. This little shed sits in Sand Cove, Blue Rocks, Nova Scotia.
